About the Project

Damodarashtakam describes early childhood pastime of krishna running from His mother Yasoda when she tried to punish Him for stealing butter from Gopis, the cowherd women of Vrindavan. This is sung fervently in Karthika Masa by Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition devotees and is a part of Padma Purana.

We had a great privilege of being associated with HH Vidyabhushana Swamiji who is inseparable from Classical Indian Music and Dasa Sahitya in providing a soulful rendering in local flavour. The Damodarastakam was released in Deepavali to coincide with the auspicious day and is dedicated to devotees and society.
